From now on, you don\u2019t need to struggle for finding\nnight shelters and food services in India as you will be able to find all of\nthe food and night shelter points across the country via your Google Maps app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google stated that it is currently collaborating with\ncentral and state government authorities to spot the locations of these relief\nwork centers. From now on, you can quickly locate these relief centers in 30\ncities of the country using Google Maps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can even use the <strong>Google\nSearch<\/strong> and <strong>Google Assistant<\/strong> for\nfinding these night shelters and food stalls offered by the Indian government\nfor those struggling to find survival during the pandemic.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People can effortlessly search on <strong>Google Maps<\/strong>, <strong>Google<\/strong> <strong>Search<\/strong>, and even <strong>Google<\/strong> Assistant by entering the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Food\nshelters in (city name)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Night\nShelters in (city name)<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This service would be translated into Hindi, in the near\nfuture stated by Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly the company is also planning to launch the same\nfeatures in other Indian languages in the forthcoming weeks.&nbsp; The government is planning to create more\nshelters throughout the nation to ensure top-notch relief service during the\nhealth crises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anal Ghosh<\/strong>,\nSenior Program Manager of <strong>Google India<\/strong>,\nsaid, \u201cAs the pandemic is getting worse, we are trying to make a united effort\nto provide solutions that assist people through the ongoing health disaster.\u201d\nThey are presently acting as a team with the Indian government to offer the best\nfood and other essential services to those who are in the hour of need.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Manager added that showing the food and night shelter\nspots on Google Maps is a significant initiative to help people get the life\nsavior information with little efforts. It will make sure that the\nunderprivileged obtains the food and night shelter services without difficulty.\nHowever, the services are provided by the Indian government, but Google is\nensuring that people get benefit from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ghosh<\/strong> continued\nthat volunteers, traffic authorities, and NGOs are also helping people to get\ninformation about these survival services because several poor and illiterate\npeople don\u2019t possess smartphones. Many poor people have smartphones, but they\nare not smart enough to use it wisely or to find the night shelter and food\npoints.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people lost their wealth during the health crises,\nincluding their smartphones. For them, many volunteers and social helpers are\nin action to tell them where the government is providing food and these\nessential services.\n\nIf you can use a smartphone, all you have to do\nis, say <strong>Ok Google, Night Shelters in (Your\nCity Name)<\/strong>.&nbsp; If you are hungry and\nhave not eaten anything for a long, then you can tell your Google Assistant, <strong>Hey Google, Food shelters in (Your City\nName).<\/strong> Once you search like that, you will get the shelter information such\nas address and other contact details.
