Samsung Galaxy S20 Specs: 5G, Three Sizes, & Ultimate Cameras
Here is everything you should know if you are looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy S20
After multiple rumours, news and leaks, Samsung finally released their all-new Samsung Galaxy S20 series devices with various wonderful features. In their “Unpacked Event,” the company announced three new phones, which are S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. All three devices are 5G enabled and will be available on March 6th in the US.
The cameras in the devices are ultimate because they all are coming with multiple cameras and some mind-boggling features. Some of the features are truly advanced, and no other brand has added them on mobile devices.
Samsung Galaxy S20
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the cheapest device among all three new devices. It starts with $1000 with 5G enabled, 6.2-inch AMOLED display with quad HD resolution (2560×1440). More than that, Samsung Galaxy S20 has a 120Hz refresh rate to refresh the screen for better video playing and gaming. Samsung Galaxy S20 is a solid rival device of OnePlus, Google Pixel, and Razer like high specs devices. They are no more working on the curve display design of the device just like they were doing since 2014.
Basically, in Samsung Galaxy S20 three rear cameras are available and with front side single selfie camera. One 12MP camera for wide photos, another one for ultra-wide photography, and then a 64MP lens camera for Telephoto photography. With all that, “Hybrid optical zooming” and “super-resolution” options for 30x zooming available in the camera features. If we talk about the selfie front-facing camera, then it is 10MP, and it’s called a “hole punch” camera in the centre of the upper side of the display. If you get Samsung Galaxy S20, then you can record 8k resolution videos.
Keeping their level up, Samsung Galaxy S20 is coming with its latest Exynos 8-core processor that works at 2.7 GHz, and it might swap out Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 hardware in few regions. The beginning segment of Samsung Galaxy S20 is 12GB RAM and 128GB of storage with an additional MicroSD card slot available. For higher usage, 4000mAh battery is inbuilt with faster 25W charging speed. But there is something that you will miss in Samsung Galaxy S20 is a Headphone jack that is not available.
Samsung Galaxy S20+
Samsung Galaxy S20+ is the second device from Samsung Galaxy S20’s Lineup. It has 6.7 inches of bigger display with the same resolution. The battery of Samsung Galaxy S20+ is 4500mAh. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S20, in Samsung Galaxy S20+, you can get 4 cameras where the “Depth Vision” sensor is added. It is also 5G enabled just like Note 10+ and Samsung Galaxy S20. Processor and RAM in Samsung Galaxy S20+ are the same as Samsung Galaxy S20 but have storage of 512GB that starts at $1200.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the Prime device in the lineup. Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra is a 6.9-inches display device with AMOLED screen, but its resolution and capability are the same as other new lower device lineup. Battery backup in the giant phone should be giant too, and that is why it has 5000mAh battery capacity with fast charging of 45W charging speed. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is available in two specs variants, which are 12GB RAM with 128GB ROM, and another one is 16GB RAM with 512GB ROM.
Bigger flashing spotlights are equipped on the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra because the camera is upgraded in this device. It has 4 cameras, but a unique feature is that now a wide-angle camera is of 108MP. More than 100MP is not an easy thing for any company, and Samsung does it. From this much MP lens, you can do a maximum of 100x zoom. Currently, it is the best in the market as per the camera features because no other brand is providing it. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will cost your wallet $1400 for the base model.
