LinkedIn Stories Launched in India With Other Local Additions


One of the most popular social media platforms, LinkedIn, has released “Stories” in India, enabling its users to share their day-to-day professional life moments and experiences with their connections and groups in a more informal, creative, and genuine way. With the launch of this feature, LinkedIn users will be able to post pictures and videos up to 20 seconds long. These stories will appear on the users’ profile for 24 hours only.

LinkedIn Stories will help the members to initiate light casual conversations and presents a whole new way to remain connected with their friends, families, and communities. Users can share their ‘professional moment of the day’ via their stories showing their work-from-home setups, work events, motivational quotes, group video calls, latest news and insights related to their industry, and much more. They can do all this easily as it won’t stay more than 24 hours on the users’ profile.

To add a more visual appeal to the LinkedIn Stories, the company has also introduced the option to add stickers in the stories. They have unveiled six localized stickers, especially for the Indian market, to help users portray their unique work-life in a more witty manner. Autorickshaw, Yoga, Chai-Time, India, Jugaad, and Cricket are the six stickers that LinkedIn rolled out in India with its new update. In addition to all this, users can also mention other users in their stories.

Apart from the launch of LinkedIn Stories, the company has also introduced a multitude of enhancements that offer a more comprehensive and delightful experience on the platform.
