Instagram Introduces New Call-to-Action Stickers for Delivery & Gift Cards

Instagram is releasing an innovative tool for businesses that can be utilized for promoting food delivery as well as gift card purchases. This new feature will work in the Stories section.

When you select one of these available partners, you can create a direct link on your order page. This will boost your sales and web traffic. 

Keep in mind that you only need to set up this all for the first time, and once this all is settled up, you would not need to do this all again each time while accessing the feature. After that, you would be able to choose the sticker right away, and Instagram will save your preferences for the future. You can edit the Links at any time according to your requirements. In case you want to advertise your Uber Eats link above DoorDash, for just instance, you would be able to do so effortlessly.

Bear in mind that you can only use one food order sticker per story. Brands can’t add multiple links to the various food delivery services in a single story. However, you can post alternate stories with diverse delivery supplier. I mean, there is no restriction for posting new or different links in your everyday stories. 

The Novel Instagram Profile Buttons

Besides the new story stickers, Instagram is also providing business a feature to install buttons on their profile for the food delivery orders and gift card purchases. It functions similarly to the Story stickers feature; however, it offers better convenience customers. They can easily click the buttons to make a purchase. 

These Profile buttons can be easily installed by obeying the steps mentioned down here:

  1. Navigate to your Instagram profile page.
  2. Then head to Edit Profile.
  3. Inside the “Public Business Information” option, press on Action Buttons.
  4. Inside the “Select a Button section,” go to Gift Cards.
  5. After that, choose a partner to put your gift cards for sale. 
  6. In case you have not configured the gift cards with a partner, you can easily set them up by following the instructions on the particular partner’s official site.
  7. Once that done, Add your partner link for your gift card service that you have chosen.
  8. When you provide the website, hit Done.
